Camp Wadsworth, So. C.

My dear Pauley,

It was very good of you to send me such a nice, long letter; many thanks.

Yes, it is too bad that I cannot see you all out in the country; what a nice time we could have together. We have a lot of work to do down here in camp but I hope I can visit you when you are back in the city.

Do you remember the good time we had in Lake George last year? No doubt you and Rhoda are having lots of fun again this summer. Did you finish the boat with the five seats? Did you catch any fish this summer? When I come up to see you, you must tell me all about your summer vacation.

With lots of love to you, mother, and Rhoda.

Your uncle,
Otto
