Text

My dear Mr. Dabney,

For a reason which I havn't time to explain just now a copy of my letter to you about the pension is wanted,—and I of course did not keep a copy. Would you be so very good as to have it copied for me? I am sorry to trouble you!

I hope you have found an opportunity to print the true facts about the pension as I stated them. They want to use it here, but I think for some reason it would be better for the true version to st be started in Va.—or anywhere a little removed from Woodrow himself.

Please excuse great haste,—

Yours very cordially,
Ellen A. Wilson
