Text
My Dear Mrs. Warren,
I would love dearly to take a box as you ask for the Roxy benefit—but at the moment my budget, like the old Mother Hubbards cupboard, is bare—but I am glad to show my interest in anything the “Gray Ladies” do—by taking four seats for Thursday night—and enclose Check for twelve dollars—
With wishes for the success you covet—and personal assurances, believe me,
Yours faithfully,
Edith Bolling Wilson
